MarAnna Austin—Room 4Ms. MarAnna has been in early childhood education since 2013. She has an AS degree in Criminal Justice and a CDA in infant and toddler education. Marann's experience with children and time at BMCC fulfill her passion for inspiring and engaging young learners.

Sharon Cole– Floater We all refer to Ms. Sharon as Memaw. She graduated from the University of Louisville, Speed Scientific School of Engineering with honors, and Trevecca Nazarene College with honors. She spent her career working for BellSouth, where she retired in 2008. Memaw has now joined BMCC, where she is our "jack of all trades" employee. Her greatest attribute to the center is her love for the staff and children. We enjoy having our Memaw at BMCC.

Leanna Collins- Floater Soon after graduation, Leanna became a member of BMCC. She is currently in the Tecta CDA program for early childhood education. Leanna loves watching the children grow and develop skills. She enjoys piano, guitar, and cooking.

Leah Day- Room 7 Leah has worked as a cook and a teacher at another childcare center. She enjoys playing with her grandkids, watching movies, and baking. Leah tries to find ways to make everything fun!

Brianna Deloach- Room 1 Ms. Bri is a first-generation college student pursuing a degree in Psychology at Austin Peay State University. She is a Tennessee native. Bri is a great big sister to two younger siblings and enjoys spending her days at BMCC.

Kailey Durham- Room 5Kailey is a Nashville native. She worked at a church day camp before becoming a teacher at BMCC. Kaiely enjoys hiking, shopping, and Disney World.

Laura Climer- Room 1 Laura is a native of Tennessee and was raised in Kentucky. She recently began her career in childcare and is eager to grow and learn in the field of early childhood. She is passionate about creating a safe, caring, and positive environment where children can learn and thrive.

Hayden Curtis- Room 7 Hayden is a native of Dickson County. She graduated from high school in 2025 and is currently attending Nashville State to become a physical therapist. Hayden sees the children learn and grow.

D'shaunna Garrett— Room 5Ms. D'Shaunna has been working in professional childcare since 2015 and in VBS and camp settings prior. D'Shaunna has an associate's degree in early childhood education. Ms. D'Shaunna has been at BMCC since 2018

Tiffany Garton - Room 5 Tiffany joined BMCC in April of 2024. She has two children and is currently working on her CDA.

Sacoya Green -Room 4 Sacoya has been with BMCC for many years. She has two daughters and is a potty-training queen! As our personal vacation planner, she knows all the ins and outs of planning a fun-filled trip with kids. Alyssa Gooch– SubMs. Alyssa grew up at BMCC as a student and the child of a BMCC employee. From a student to a BMCC educator, she spends her time here when she is not teaching in the public school system. Alyssa graduated with a 6-8 Math Education degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin. She received her master's at APSU. Alyssa enjoys being with her husband, dog, and family, and coaching volleyball.

Lanie Gooch- Room 2 Ms. Lanie is a college student studying to work in the education field. She is an alumnus of BMCC, spending all five years of her early childhood learning in the same rooms she now teaches in. She has also volunteered at BMCC since she was in middle school.

Rebecca Hall– Room 6Ms. Rebecca attended Vol State and Nossi College of Art. She holds an associate's and a bachelor of Graphic Arts degree in photography/video graphic design. Before obtaining this degree, Rebecca had a visual arts degree in early childhood with an elementary education focus. Ms. Rebecca has been at BMCC since 2012 in a variety of capacities.

Maria Leon– Room 2 Maria graduated from Cheatham County High School. She then attended TCAT and studied Cosmetology. Maria enjoys spending time with family and doing hair. She has always taken care of her siblings and enjoys working with the children and staff at BMCC.

Teresa Leon– Room 8 Teresa grew up in the Nashville area. She has a degree in Psychology and enjoys the preschool environment, where she uses her education when working with the children. Teresa enjoys working out, being outdoors, and car shows.

Brandon Myrick- Art teacherMr. Brandon has many years of experience working with children, much of which he has spent at BMCC. He was a Rooms 7 and 5 classroom teacher before becoming the Art teacher in June of 2022. Brandon is currently working on a degree in Early Childhood Education, and his extensive experience with art includes cartooning, painting, and graphic design. When he isn’t busy creating within the halls of BMCC, Mr. Brandon also enjoys solving puzzles and playing music.

Sami Myrick – Music teacher Ms. Sami has been a preschool music teacher for six years, five of them at Belle Meade Children's Center. She has a Bachelor of Science in Audio Engineering and loves to create and share music with young, growing minds. When she's not singing and dancing with children, you can find her reading Stephen King novels or chasing her bunny Elliot around!

Beth Nicholson—Room 2 Born in Alabama and raised in White Bluff, TN, Ms. Beth has been a member of the BMCC staff since 2017. Her compassion and respect for children come naturally; her time at BMCC teaching inspired her to further her education in early childhood and receive a CDA in infants and toddlers.

Anne Okoth– Chef Attending The Art Institute of TN-Nashville and graduating with an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts with a concentration in Pastry, Ms. Anne brings healthy, kid-friendly food to BMCC plates while exposing their young palettes to foreign flavors and traditional favorites. Therefore, her name is mentioned at home dining tables, and some parents call her the "food whisperer."

Debbie Perkins– FloaterMs. Debbie has a lot of experience at BMCC, starting in 2011. Debbie is from St. Louis and is a proud parent of 4 children and a grandparent to 8 grandchildren whom she adores! Debbie loves working with the children and thoroughly enjoys her job at BMCC!

Kellie Phelps– Room 6Joining BMCC in 2012, Ms. Kellie has her bachelor's degree from Muskingum University in Child & Family Studies. Ms. Kellie has 16+ years of experience teaching preschool. Eleven of those years have been at BMCC, teaching, connecting, and learning alongside 3-year-olds.

Jordan Rediker- Room 3 Jordan is pursuing a CDA in early childhood at Nashville State. She enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her husband and two daughters.

Hope Rinehart- Room 3 Hope has been working in childcare for more than five years. She spends her time with her fiancé and their two dogs. Hope enjoys bringing her two nieces to BMCC, where she gets to watch them flourish in a new environment.

Madison Sexton—SubMs. Madison shares her dependability and passion for nurturing children at BMCC. She is a teacher in Robertson County and loves being at BMCC on her days off!

Michelle Rogers—Room 4 Ms. Michelle attended Trevecca Nazarene University and graduated in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. She has volunteered with many child-centered programs, like VBS and Kidpower (an after-school program at her college), which gave her the skills needed for her position at BMCC. She enjoys crafting, hiking, reading, and baking sweets when not in the classroom.

Jaila Tibbs—Room 6 Born and raised in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, Ms. Jaila brings her competence and security to BMCC after years of experience as a Trainer and guest Experience Captain in the restaurant industry.

Katie Trest– Room 8Ms. Katie has been working at BMCC since 2015 and is a pre-K teacher in room 8. She has a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education K-6 and has experience teaching Kindergarten as well as tutoring children and adults in literacy. Katie has a love for gardening and has enjoyed sharing this passion with the kids on the preschool playground. Outside of school, Katie likes spending time outdoors with her husband and their two beautiful sons.

Chelsea Woodard -Room 8Mrs. Chelsea has been with BMCC for 8 years. She has a CDA and a technical certificate in Preschool education and is currently working on her Associate's degree in Early Childhood education. Chelsea has a creative spirit that brings joy to others. We call her our "BMCC Disney Princess." Chelsea is a mom to two little girls. She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters on the football field, in the woods, or just hanging out with family.
